If you are ‘natural-type’, fine. You are flexible. But if you are ‘suspicious-type’ or ‘question-type’, may be you need a norm 🙂 . Ya, we are about to know ‘friend’s definition.

There are 18 entries in dictionary.com for ‘friend’. It can be a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard, or a person whom one knows, likes and trusts (these two seems to be the best ones).

Do animals sense natural events?

Were these natural warning of an impending earthquake in the mountainous Sichuan province in China – there is much news coming out now, something that could look like superstitions. As the news emerges, three days before the earthquake thousands of toads appeared on the streets on Mianzhu city or hours before the unusual behaviour of lions, zebras and other animals at the zoo in Wuhan. What the human perception could not catch, animals could!!

The 2007 Nobel literature prize winner Doris Lessing seems not enthusiast any more to continue writing. She is now 88. That means she won the Nobel Prize at the age of 87. May be the highest recognition came very late. She is the oldest person ever to win the award.

Jenny, a 213-pound female gorilla is celebrating her 55^th birthday at the Dallas Zoo. Normally gorillas live 30 to 35 years in the wild. Then how Jenny could reach almost double of normal years for gorillas. Simply good care and protection from predators. “Happy Birthday to You Jenny”!!!

Smart in the long run

Though we are not interested about politics, but it is one of the biggest events ever – US Presidential Election, and no way to put it aside.

Looks like Senator Barack Obama is going to get the nomination from the Democratic Party – the first black president of US (if elected) and may be it will be rolling over the centuries ahead. A breakthrough!!

The China Philharmonic Orchestra

The China Philharmonic Orchestra is going to perform for Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican this week. Pope Benedict XVI is a big fan of Mozart. So the concert will start with Mozart’s Requem. The Requem was composed by the ever-gifted composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1791. It is one of his most important works.
