The China Philharmonic Orchestra

The China Philharmonic Orchestra is going to perform for Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican this week. Pope Benedict XVI is a big fan of Mozart. So the concert will start with Mozart’s Requem. The Requem was composed by the ever-gifted composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1791. It is one of his most important works.

Certainly the Orchestra is one of the most prominent in China. But when it plays Mozart’s work, the message is very clear – “Music is a universal language”. Therefore it can easily connect people and establish relationships among distant nations of different cultures and values. Gratitude!!
