CNN reported citing Transparency International, ‘The Poor’ in India paid the above amount in bribes in 2007.

The bribe was paid to access the basic services which include but not limited to getting relatives admitted into hospitals or enrolling children in schools. That shows hardly any sector of the daily life remains exempted from corruption.

Stanford Uni graduates Jerry and David Filo founded the company back in 1994. What was once Jerry’s guide to www became an excellent web portal for search, mails, news, games and a lot more. Yahoo! established itself as pioneer in the infinite universe of internet.

Naming the Gorillas
