It’s quite a long time that Facebook leapt over Yahoo!, once Web’s No. one. Now it’s Google’s turn to face the reality. 🙂
According to Hitwise (the leader in online competitive intelligence), Facebook reached an important milestone for the week ending March 13, 2010. It just surpassed Google in the US to become the most visited website for the week.
However, this trend could also be observed on other days like Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve and again on March 6th and 7th this year.
And this is happening again and again before the final takeover of web traffic by FB that is not only limited within US but worldwide. It’s now just matter of time, and possibly by June-July or latest by August Facebook will stand as the World’s No.1, and of course, the most-beloved site in Web’s history.
