Walking and Working

Although Time’s Belinda Luscombe tries to burn few calories on walking while working, but it’s quite a crazy idea except…

  • you would spend time watching YouTube or any other video/movie site,
  • playing video games, or
  • in extreme case, chatting something unworthy. 

Actually Miss Luscombe’s campaign is to help people with sedentary jobs – jobs that require you ‘sitting’ most of the time. But even in sedentary jobs, you need to concentrate on your work. But if the aim is to burn calories, it can be managed doing exercises in-between long work-hours.

Elaine Magee tells you ways that can help burning calories. Few surprising tips include drinking caffeinated green or black tea, drinking  eight (8) cups or two (2) liters of water a day, and suggesting not to skip breakfast. 

And look here. Cathleen Doheny tells you exactly how much calorie you burn while ‘sexing’. Doheny writes, “Thirty minutes of sex burns 85 calories or more. It may not sound like much, but it adds up:….”. So try to add up some more calories in your ‘burning list’.
