WWF: 25.000 Euro Belohnung für sachdienliche Hinweise. / Deutschland hat Wilderei-Problem
Schon wieder wurde ein geschütztes und bedrohtes Wildtier in Deutschland illegal abgeschossen. Diesmal hat es ein Wolfsweibchen nahe Görlitz erwischt. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen wurde das Tier erschossen. Damit wurden in den vergangenen Jahren in Deutschland nachweislich achtzehn Wölfe illegal getötet, wobei der WWF von einer zusätzlichen Dunkelziffer ausgeht. Hinzu kommen getötete oder auf mysteriöse Weise verschollene Luchse sowie unzählige gewilderte Greifvögel. Für sachdienliche Hinweise, die im aktuellen Fall zur Ergreifung des Täters führen, hat der WWF eine Belohnung von 25.000 Euro ausgesetzt. Die Naturschutzorganisation verurteilte die Tat aufs Schärfste und forderte von den Ermittlungsbehörden eine „intensive“ Strafverfolgung. (more…)

Bakteriophagen – auch kurz Phagen genannt – sind eine Gruppe von kleinen Viren, die Bakterien infizieren und diese verändern oder auch zerstören können. Ihr Name lässt sich daher mit „Bakterienfresser“ übersetzen. Um in ein Bakterium einzudringen, muss ein Phage Strukturen auf der Bakterienhülle erkennen und sich an diese anheften. (more…)
