Wissenschaftler des Tübinger Sonderforschungsbereichs RessourcenKulturen finden neue Hinweise auf Ansiedlungen in unwirtlichen Gebieten der Iberischen Halbinsel im dritten Jahrtausend vor Christus

Forscher des Sonderforschungsbereichs RessourcenKulturen (SFB 1070) an der Universität Tübingen haben in Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen der spanischen Universität Alcalá de Henares ein bislang unbekanntes kupferzeitliches Siedlungszentrum in der Region Azután (Zentralspanien) entdeckt. Bei einer Feldstudie fanden sie auf einer Fläche von rund 90 Hektar Keramik und Steinwerkzeuge, die sie durch typologische Untersuchungen der Kupferzeit zuweisen konnten. (more…)
