During a stroke or organ transplant, patients can suffer an injury due to lack of blood supply to vital organs. The injury — known as ischemia reperfusion — can cause damage to tissues. Deutschland ist ein bedeutendes Importland für Abfall. Ein Grund: Die deutsche Abfalltechnik ist auf einem hohen Niveau, für manche Stoffe gibt es hier die besten Entsorgungsverfahren. Aber auch die geringere Auslastung einzelner Abfallverbrennungsanlagen sorgt dafür, dass Abfall importiert wird. Doch um welche Mengen geht es und wo kommen sie her?
