www.cuil.com is the latest in the row of search engines. Much talked was the Wikia search. But Wikia needs 10 M Years to work effectively in daily searches.

Microsoft and Facebook in good friendship mood
When Microsoft launched its cashback program in May this year, there were much buzz in the industry news and blogs about its success. Now months later, Microsoft’s success gaining more share in searches among the three major search engines looks more obvious. The Comscore data shows a 15% rise in search queries for Microsoft while Google and Yahoo! showed 6% and 9% rise respectively for June.
Brain Drain
Google’s Brin is planning to go to Space (Mars, Jupiter, Venus, etcetera etcetera etc.) If this happens………………………. It will be the ‘ever biggest’ brain drain for planet Earth. 🙂
Bravo GOOGLE
This is amazing how much traffic we are now getting from Google and its increasing from one day to the other. We are still a very small site but we are growing steadily. That’s certain at any measures.
Corporate business
A heated debate over the last few months seems not ended but getting fuel underneath. It’s all about Microsoft’s buying of Yahoo!. For the last four years Yahoo!’s rival Google’s stock has gone up 440%, while Yahoo!’s one remained flat. Microsoft moved to a bid to offer $33 per share making the total value of $47.5 bn. But Jerry’s team demanded $37/share. Therefore MS retreated. But shareholders anger and frustration persisted.
What about Google, Ranking 4th in Alexa
Since yesterday, Google’s Alexa ranking fell behind YouTube and Live.com. Google was 2nd in the rank, now stands 4th.
Microsoft’s buying % of Facebook
Microsoft’s winning of the bid to buy 1.6% of Facebook for $240 Milion valued the privately owned company at $15 billion. Does it sound real that a private company, a social-networking utility, values such high. Incredible.
