‘El Che’, The Legendary Hero

A 4-meter bronze statue of ‘Che Guevara’ now stands in his own town Rosario, Argentina. The sculptor Andres Zerneri crafted the bronze statue from donations he received from thousands of people in Argentina and from around the world. The donations included anything household that is of bronze from doorknobs to door keys.

Shrinking Arctic sea ice

In 2007 Arctic sea ice shrank to 30% below the average line, which could be the reason of more than 2°C rise of autumn temperature than usual over the land. As the rapid loss of ice severely affects the inland temperature, it will possibly thaw the permafrost (the frozen soil).

The macaque rampant

Monkeys rampaged – destroyed hundreds of acres farmland and stole crops. The incident occurred in Java, and the complex of centuries old Buddhist Temple of ‘Borobudur’ was not either left from their aggressive move. The Temple is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
