Do we know how much radiation our cell phones are emitting while we are phoning or sending text messages.
The Environmental Working Group offers a list of cell phones with data on how much radiation these tiny playing-objects (that is now almost part of our body) emit on us.
According to the group: “Your cell phone emits radiation to send voice and text messages from you to the other caller. Some (not all) studies of frequent cell-phone users suggest this radiation may increase risks for cancer or children’s behaviour problems.” – Very Alarming!!!
Following the list of smartphones, Nokia 9300i is the best phone with very low radiation (maximum radiation: 0.21 W/KG). This is the radiation that the phone emits when we hold it to our ears.
But how much radiation is absorbed by the body when the phone is sending a signal to the network? The SAR or Specific Absorption Rates is a measure of this absorbance. For Nokia 9300i it’s very low: 0.21 W/KG (when the phone is hold up to our ears), and 0.58 W/KG (when we wear or carry the phone on our body).

OK, then what are the worst phones with high radiation. As the list shows, some of the worst phones are T-Mobile myTouch 3G, Sony Ericsson p910a and more.

However, it’s always better to use a voice connection when you talk longer. This will help to absorb less radiation to your body. Remember: radiations are always harmful.
