*40 Percent of Smartphone Owners Use Handset for Gaming*
Hamburg, Germany, August 15, 2011 – comScore, Inc., a leader in measuring the digital world, today announced that, in June 
2011, a total of 25.2 million Germans have visited online gaming sites. The category rose by 8 percent compared to last year, and online gaming now reaches 46 percent of German Internet users. In addition to online gaming on PCs and laptops mobile gaming is on the up. 14.1 million mobile phone users have played at least one game on their mobile device during a 3-month-average ending June 2011.
