Boy ohh Boy, and your ‘Warrior gene’

You read it good. The English word ‘Warrior’ is someway, all the way, related to some kind of ‘fighting’. And those who are now attributed to this ‘Warrior’ group are boys.

But who are these boys. 😉

They are gangs, gangsters, warriors, and fighters.

Sometimes we experience them, their turbulent storms and cyclones, in the streets, or if not at least in the movies. But it’s not their faults. They are innocent boys.

The main driving mechanism of this tremendous energy (‘all the world going into this gravity’ like situation), is the genes that wrote the code for them to be an aggressive boy.

The research that led to this conclusion is conducted by Kevin M. Beaver and his group. Mr. Beaver is a biosocial criminologist at Florida State’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The Florida State University (FSU) press release wrote,

‘Boys who carry a particular variation of the gene Monoamine oxidase A (MAOA), sometimes called the “warrior gene”, are more likely not only to join gangs but also to be among the most violent members and to use weapons.’

So it’s the variant of Monoamine oxidase A gene who is the main criminal.

Girls are luckier than boys, because the MAOA gene is located in the X-chromosome. And you might know that females have two X-chromosomes while males have one X-chromosome and one Y-chromosome.

So for boys there is only one copy of this fighting gene in their body, but for girls they have two copies. So one counteracts the other (in girls), but boys are quite helpless here. They have no second MAOA gene to counteract and lessen the ‘spirit of fight’.

So what shall we do now? Answer is simple.

Forgive those gangsters in your neighbourhood. It’s not them, it’s their genes that are fuelling the fire from behind.

Hummmm……just thinking, what’s next. 🙂
