Teach-in: “Unrest in the Middle East and North Africa”

Even if you did not have the opportunity to attend the panel on “Unrest in the Middle East and North Africa,” you can slearn what four experts on the history and political affairs of the Middle East had to say about the causes of the unrest in the region in this video of the panel, held on Feb. 8 in the Yale Law School.

The featured speakers were Yale faculty members Adel Allouche, Adria Lawrence and Ellen Lust, and Tarek Masoud of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. The panel was moderated by Professor Marcia C. Inhorn, chair of the Council on Middle East Studies, which co-sponsored the event with the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies, the International Students Organization, and the Arab Students Association.
