NABU-Artenschutzprojekt im Kaukasus zeigt Erfolge

Die Zahl der Kaukasischen Bergwisente ist in den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten von 150 auf 850 Tiere gestiegen. Die aktuelle Zählung ergab zudem, dass seit der letzten Erfassung im August 2012 mindestens 10 bis 15 Prozent mehr Jungtiere hinzukamen. Dieser Anstieg spricht dafür, dass sich die Population sehr gesund entwickelt. (more…)
