Mit einem auch für Laien verständlichen Video macht die Universität Tübingen seit Mittwoch auf die Bedeutung des Forschungsfelds Maschinelles Lernen aufmerksam. „In den vergangenen Monaten hat es zahlreiche Medienberichte über die Entwicklung von Künstlicher Intelligenz und ihres derzeit wichtigsten Teilbereichs, das Maschinelle Lernen, gegeben“, erklärt Professor Matthias Bethge, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning an der Universität Tübingen: „Dabei haben wir den Eindruck gewonnen, dass die Öffentlichkeit mehr über die Grundlagen dieses wichtigen Forschungsbereichs erfahren sollte, der eine Schlüsseltechnologie des 21.
