Moralsysteme sind der SchlĂŒssel zur Unterscheidung zwischen “gut” und “böse” und damit fĂŒr die Festlegung sozialer Ordnungen elementar. Ein internationales Forschungsteam um den Mathematiker Tatsuya Sasaki von der UniversitĂ€t Wien hat nun eine neue optimale Theorie zur Entwicklung von Zusammenarbeit im Sinne der evolutionĂ€ren Spieltheorie vorgelegt. Die Wissenschafter haben herausgefunden, dass die moralische Nicht-Bewertung ein effektiver Grundstein beim Aufbau einer Kooperation ist. Die Ergebnisse wurden kĂŒrzlich im Fachjournal Scientific Reports veröffentlicht.

Blueberry concentrate improves brain function in older people

Drinking concentrated blueberry juice improves brain function in older people, according to research by the University of Exeter.

In the study, healthy people aged 65-77 who drank concentrated blueberry juice every day showed improvements in cognitive function, blood flow to the brain and activation of the brain while carrying out cognitive tests. There was also evidence suggesting improvement in working memory. (more…)
