People who hear voices — both with and without a diagnosed psychotic illness — are more sensitive than other subjects to a 125-year-old experiment designed to induce hallucinations. And the subjects’ ability to learn that these hallucinations were not real may help pinpoint those in need of psychiatric treatment, suggests a new Yale-led study published Aug. 11 in the journal Science. Neue Ergebnisse aufgrund von Ausgrabungen in Willendorf in der Wachau
Die ersten modernen Menschen kamen vermutlich etwa vor 43.500 Jahren während einer kalten klimatischen Episode ins heutige Österreich. Ein multinationales Team unter der Leitung von Bence Viola (Universität Wien und Max-Planck-Institut für Evolutionäre Anthropologie, Leipzig) und Philip Nigst (University of Cambridge und MPI Evolutionäre Anthropologie) analysierte Artefakte, die während einer erneuten Ausgrabung der Venusfundstelle Willendorf in der Wachau entdeckt wurden.
