Über alle Kanäle – Cristina Párraga Niebla will die Welt ein bisschen sicherer machen

Katastrophen entdecken, einschätzen, klassifizieren und dann die Welt informieren – ganz schön schwere Kost für eine 37-Jährige, die auch als junge Studentin durchgehen würde. Cristina Párraga Niebla liebt die Herausforderung. Genau damit konnte das EU-Projekt Alert4All dienen, das die DLR Wissenschaftlerin Ende des Jahres 2013 als Projektleiterin zu einem erfolgreichen Ende brachte. Bei Alert4All wurde ein Alarmierungssystem entworfen, implementiert und demonstriert. In Zukunft können Behörden, Sicherheitsverantwortliche oder Einsatzkräfte die Bevölkerung effizient alarmieren und den aktuellen Informationsstand zur Alarmierungslage in Krisenfällen in ganz Europa abrufen und sich dazu austauschen: Welche Katastrophe hat sich ereignet?
