CAMBRIDGE, MA – 29 Jan 2018: IBM (NYSE: IBM) Security today released a global[1] study examining consumer perspectives around digital identity and authentication, which found that people now prioritize security over convenience when logging into applications and devices. Generational differences also emerged showing that younger adults are putting less care into traditional password hygiene, yet are more likely to use biometrics, multifactor authentication and password managers to improve their personal security. Each year, faculty and graduate students in the field of ancient Greek philosophy gather at Yale or King’s College London to read one of the 10 books of the seminal work Plato’s “Republic.” The seminar brings together faculty and graduate students specializing in ancient philosophy from Yale and King’s College London, as well as invited faculty and graduate students from Cornell University, and invited faculty from other universities in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
