Powerful Women. The most powerful ones….

German Chancellor Angela Merkel took the first position of Forbes’s 100 most powerful women in the world. Well-known faces like Condoleezza Rice went little bit down in the list. Rice got 7th most powerful position. Hillary Clinton is not within the first ten. She got the 28th position. But if she could be the Democratic Party candidate for the coming presidential election, she might be at the 2nd or 3rd position. But it doesn’t matter. She is one of the brightest women politicians of 21st century.

While many from the list will be disappearing sooner or later, but Queen Elizabeth II will pleasantly keep holding her place for long. At the moment she holds the 58th position – almost in the middle of the power (in the list).

But many enlisted ones are not politician rather business executives like the Safra A. Catz, President and CFO of Oracle or Susan Decker, President of Yahoo! Inc. They got the position they deserved.

Success of these famous women can be inspirations for others as well. Just think of Kiran Mazumder-Shaw, the Chairman and MD of one of the World’s top biotech company ‘Biocon’. Starting her business with just few thousands Rupees, Kiran is now India’s richest woman.

But. Yes now there comes a ‘but’.

Behind every great Man there’s a Woman. Behind every powerful and rich Woman there are many powerful Men. 😉

How many could it be? 🙂
