Because they wanted to impress the persons they were talking to, 65% of the Britons (according to the survey) pretended that they have read the books ‘in discussion’. However, Leo Tolstoy’s ‘War and Peace’ stood as the second most popular book among the Britons (- that’s nice). Barack Obama has a huge influence among the book lovers as well (- a very recent issue). Fourth most read book is the Bible. That means the Britons are very keen about religious issues (- close to God).
Just thinking…..what else could be the next big thing after books? 😉
