NeurowissenschafterInnen zeigen, wie soziale Unterstützung die Reaktionen auf sozialen Ausschluss verändert
Soziale Unterstützung kann unsere Wahrnehmung von unangenehmen Situationen verändern, wobei manche Formen von Unterstützung wirkungsvoller zu sein scheinen als andere. Ein internationales Forschungsteam unter der Leitung von Giorgia Silani von der Fakultät für Psychologie an der Universität Wien konnte zeigen, dass negative Gefühle und Gehirnreaktionen von der Form der sozialen Unterstützung, die man nach sozialer Exklusion erhält, verändert werden. Die Resultate der durchgeführten Studie erschienen kürzlich im Journal “Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN)”.
