Ähnlich dem gähnenden Schlund einer riesigen himmlischen Kreatur leuchtet die kometenartige Globule CG4 bedrohlich in diesem neuen Bild des Very Large Telescopes der ESO. Obwohl es auf der Aufnahme so scheint, als sei sie groß und hell, handelt es sich bei CG4 tatsächlich nur um einen lichtschwachen Nebel, weshalb es sich für Astronomen als schwierig gestaltet, ihn ausfindig zu machen.
