Have you assessed your machine safety lately?

If the answer is no, then we have things to talk about. Read on!

Every day we rely on the help of machines to complete our daily tasks. Machines have become like the ‘bridesmaids’ of humans. We have constructed them and engineered them over thousands of years to be our sidekicks, our helpers, our seconds. So much so that we can forget that they are there sometimes.

We humans have made inventions that surpass our own capabilities. We forget how dependent we are on them. If you want to do an experiment, you could try one day to conduct all of your usual activity without using a machine or a mechanised device, or an automated machine. I think you’ll find that as soon you go to turn on the tap to take a drink, or to heat some water, you have failed. This reliance on machines mean that we have to take care of them and treat them well. We can’t take them for granted or expect that they will perform all o their tasks unless we maintain and update them.

If you are a business owner or manager who relies on machinery to run the business—and that’s pretty much every business owner or manager—then you should institute. Doing this will help you to consider the best machinery for your business, and if there are better or alternative ways to do what you are already doing.
