How to protect word document with password

It’s very simple to protect your word document with password. Just follow the steps:

Open the document that you want to protect.

Go to File > Protect Document > Encrypt with Password

In the small window that opens now, enter your password.

In the new window, you have to re-enter the password.

Now the word document is protected and you have to use your password everytime you open it.
