The lion's mane jellyfish is the largest known species of jellyfish on Earth. It's also known as the giant jellyfish or the hair jelly.
Scientific name: Cyanea capillata
But how large it is?
With tentacles up to 190 feet (57.91 meters) long and a bell diameter of almost 7 feet (2.13 meters) wide, some individuals even rival in size the blue whale (Source: OCEANA)
