Anziehen, ausziehen u. umziehen – the differences

So Friends, today we will discuss about ‚anziehen‘, ‚ausziehen‘ and ‚umziehen'.
When used as reflexive verbs (with ‚sich‘), then they are all about ‚dressing‘, ‚undressing‘ and ‚redressing‘.
sich anziehen – to get dressed
anziehen - to attract someone or something
sich ausziehen – to get undressed
ausziehen - to take something off (like, shoes)
sich umziehen – to change clothes
umziehen - to move or relocate (like, to a new place)
So let’s discuss it more details with examples:
anziehen:
sich anziehen – to get dressed (past & past participle: zog an, angezogen)
Ich ziehe mich an. – I get dressed.
Ich ziehe mich extra schick an, bevor ich ins Disko gehe. – I dress myself especially chic, before I go to disco.
Heute habe ich mein erstes Date, darum möchte ich mich sehr schick anziehen. – Today I have my first date, so I would like to get dressed very chic.

schick anziehen – to dress chic, to dress smart
Zieh dich warm an, es ist kalt draußen! – Get dressed warm, it's cold outside!
Zieh dich warm an, du erkältest dich sonst. Es ist kalt draußen! - Get dressed warmly, you'll catch cold otherwise. It's cold outside!
Es ist sehr warm draußen, ich ziehe mich leicht an und gehe Spazieren. - It's very warm outside, I will dress myself light (now) and go for walk.
Im Sommer ziehe ich mich leicht an. – In summer I wear light clothes.
The verb ‚anziehen‘ without the reflexive part ‘sich’ means – to attract someone or something (past & past participle: zog an, angezogen)
Ein Magnet kann nur Eisen anziehen. - A magnet can only attract iron.
Magneten ziehen Eisen an. - Magnets attract iron.

die Eisenstange – iron rod (‚die Stange‘ means – rod)

Er zieht sich aus – He is undressing or He is taking his clothes off
Du ziehst dich aus – You are undressing or you are taking your clothes off
Ich habe mich ausgezogen. - I have undressed.
Ich habe mich ausgezogen und bin ins Wasser gesprungen. – I have taken my clothes off and (then) jumped into water (like, swimming pool).
Verb: springen – to jump (past & past participle: sprang, gesprungen)

But ‚ausziehen‘ without the reflexive part ‚sich‘ means - to take something off (past & past participle: zog aus, ausgezogen)
Ziehst Du bitte Deine Schuhe aus! – Please take your shoes off!
Zieh bitte Deine Schuhe aus, bevor Du reinkommst! – Please take your shoes off before you come in!
reinkommen – to come in (it’s mostly colloquial)
umziehen:
sich umziehen – to change clothes (past & past participle: zog um, umgezogen)
Ich ziehe mich um – I am changing clothes (like, I am redressing)
In Kairo ist es sehr heiß, ich schwitze ständig und tagsüber muss ich mich ein paar mal umziehen. – In Cairo it‘s very hot, I sweat constantly and I have to change my clothes several times during the day.
Verb: schwitzen – to sweat (past & past participle: schwitzte, geschwitzt)
ich schwitze ständig - I sweat constantly/ I sweat always

Wir ziehen um – We are moving/relocating.
Wir ziehen nach Berlin um – We are moving to Berlin.
Wir sind umgezogen! – We have moved!
