Little bit of accusative: 'Gegen den Wind' and 'Gegen die Wand'

Let’s get it clear first, you know the difference between ‚Wind‘ and ‚Wand‘

der Wind means ‚wind‘

die Wand means ‚wall‘

The preposition ‚gegen‘ requires solely accusative, and in accusative

der changes to den

die remains as die

das remains as das

So,

der Wind changes to den Wind (e.g. gegen den Wind)

die Wand remains as die Wand (e.g. gegen die Wand)

By the way ‚Gegen die Wand‘ (Head-on) is a drama film from Writer and Director Fatih Akin.
