How to Activate Macros in Excel

Post by Admin »

If for any reason Macros of your Excel file are deactivated, then you can ‘activate’ it again and start working with it.

In Excel, go to Tools > Macro > Security. In the dialog box that appears, you can select your security level to ‘Medium’. Click Ok.

Close your Excel file.

Now open your Excel file again. You will get a new warning message from Microsoft Excel, that shows you the location path of your file and says, ‘Macros may contain viruses. It is always safe to disable macros, but if the macros are legitimate, you might lose some functionality.’ You can ignore the message. 8)

However, you have three buttons here – Disable Macros, Enable Macros, and More Info. Choose ‘Enable Macros’.

Your Macros are activated again, and by now everything should be functioning properly.

Have fun. :)
